It is committed to ethical principles, good governance, and conducting business responsibly with regard to society and the environment. The company has established policies and practices in line with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) to align with sustainable development goals and ensure that its business operations are free from any human rights violations.

Definition

Human rights refer to the dignity, fundamental rights, and freedoms inherent to all individuals by birth, without discrimination based on nationality, religion, gender, race, language, age, education, social status, or any other legal status. (Source: National Human Rights Commission of Thailand)

Policy Guidelines and Implementation

The company is committed to respecting and adhering to human rights principles through the following actions:

1. Non-discrimination Treating all individuals equally and without bias.

2. Avoiding Human Rights Violations Ensuring that all business operations are free from any form of human rights abuse.

3. Promoting and Supporting Human Rights Advancing human rights both within and outside the organization.

4. Education and Communication Providing knowledge and sharing best practices with stakeholders such as business partners, contractors, and joint ventures, to collectively respect human rights throughout the value chai

Implementation Guidelines

  1. Treat everyone with respect and dignity, without discrimination based on physical or mental conditions, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other status.
  2. Support fair and safe working conditions, including the promotion of employee well-being and work-life balance.
  3. Respect the rights and freedoms of employees to express opinions, assemble, and engage in collective bargaining.
  4. Prohibit child labor and forced labor within the organization and throughout the supply chain.
  5. Promote occupational safety, health, and risk management measures in line with legal requirements and international standards.
  6. Provide channels for reporting human rights violations, through the website www.ggithailand.com or via mail to the Chairman or Audit Committee Chair. The company ensures fairness and protection for whistleblowers.
  7. Foster an organizational culture that respects human rights, and take appropriate action when any violation is identified.

Penalties and Monitoring

  1. Executives or employees who violate human rights are considered to have breached the company's Code of Conduct and may face disciplinary action in accordance with company regulations, as well as legal prosecution if applicable.
  2. The company requires a review of the Human Rights Policy at least once a year to ensure its relevance to evolving contexts.

This policy shall be effective from February 1, 2025, onwards.
